FLORENCE, S.C. - The Florence County Council on Thursday approved a fee-in-lieu-of-tax agreement with Charles Ingram Lumber Co. to provide for the inclusion of a proposed expansion. Charles Ingram Lumber, at 4930 Planer Road in Effingham, is a family-owned sawmill and lumber mill. The company is considering an additional investment in the county of approximately $33 million that will create up to 22 full-time jobs. Read More
